CR Taylor Timber Ltd has strengthened its team with the appointment of two new directors and three sales executives.
Sales manager Charles Taylor, the third generation of the family to work in the business, is now sales director, while finance Mark Darnell has been promoted to finance director.
The three new sales executives – Ian Page, Geoff Bond and David Neal – bring more than 100 years’ experience to the company.
Managing director Russell Tallant said that over the past two years the company had concentrated on improving efficiencies which had provided a base for growth and diversification.
“While we continue to deal extensively with the major housebuilders, we are now looking to move into more specialised areas, including offering a range of machined products to other timber trade sectors,” said Mr Tallant.
