Doug Wentworth, managing director of Taylormade Timber Products Ltd (left), presents a cheque for £1,000 to Chris Davidson, north-east president of the Timber Trades’ Benevolent Society. Mr Wentworth decided to make the donation instead of sending Christmas cards and gifts to his customers and suppliers in 2006.
