“Child’s play” is how export sales manager Alisdair Pegg described the set-up for Felder’s new Perfect 610/710 edgebander range.

The new models replace manually adapted machines and can be readjusted and calibrated in seconds, he said.

The more sophisticated 710 includes an electronically-adjusted pressure bar with two staggered roller carriages for even distribution of pressure. Both feature chain feeders running at 12m/min with rubber tracks for optimum grip.

The company also unveiled its latest Format H CNC machining centre, the Format H30. Aimed at makers of larger dimension doors, windows and furniture, it has a working area of 4800x1360x130mm and 50 tooling positions.

It also includes console and vacuum pad positioning by laser or digital indicator and an additional 24-position rotary tool changer.
