Hannu Anttila, Metsä Tissue Corp’s president and CEO, is to take over as senior vice-president, chief financial officer of the Metsäliitto Group during spring 2003. He will succeed Kari Haavisto who is to retire.
Mr Anttila has been with the Metsäliitto Group since 1980. He was chief financial officer of Metsä-Serla from 1992-1996 and senior vice-president of Metsä-Botnia from 1997-1998. He has been president and CEO of Metsä Tissue since November 1998.
The new president and CEO of Metsä Tissue will be announced at a later date.
