Carvers Building Supplies in Wolverhampton is getting ready for its ninth annual Carver Wolverhampton City Marathon on September 3.
The local building and timber merchant has been the main sponsor and underwriter of the event since 1998. In that time the marathon has raised over £100,000 for local charities. Last year’s event saw a record number take part.
The event also includes a half marathon, half marathon cycle event and a relay challenge for groups of five runners.
