Woodworking machinery supplier Ney Ltd has sold the first of Busellato‘s new Jet 232 machining centres in the UK.

The machine, initially showcased at Woodmex last October, has been installed at Wellingborough-based kitchen cabinet makers Archers and contract panel makers Bradmar of Somerset.

Busellato described the Jet 232 as a “working centre” because of its full CAD/CAM ability, import and export of dxf/dwg files, free optimisation and 3D projection and virtual face capability.

Clamping options cater for panel applications and machining of solid timber, particularly production of window and door components or staircase parts.

The machine’s working head combines drilling with an integrated saw unit and an ISO or HFK electrospindle for dual milling and boring capabilities at high speed.

The Jet 232 costs from £60,000-70,000, depending on specification.
