BSW Timber has appointed Jouni Savolainen as managing director of its Latvian-based sawmill BSW Latvia Sia.
Jouni Savolainen, originally from Finland, has over 15 years of forestry and timber experience at senior management level positions. Most recently, he was sawmill director for Otavan Saha in Finland, responsible for the overall operational and sales responsibility of the mill. He has also worked for F Braun, a UPM Kymmene sawmill and planing mill in Alsace, France and as export manager for Luvian Saha.
