BSW has appointed Harry Stevens as log purchaser and supply manager for Carlisle.
Mr Stevens has over 12 years of forestry, timber and retail sector experience secured at senior management level positions. Previously he was area manager with Egger Forest Products, where he was responsible for the harvesting, timber marketing and supply management of standing timber to the markets. He has also worked for Euroforest.
Welcoming Mr Stevens, site manager David Burd said: “His technical expertise in the areas of timber procurement and supply, and his in-depth understanding of the trade, make him a great addition to our team.”
