Arch Timber Protection has responded to the problem that brown dye used with CCA treatment is not compatible with latest environmentally sound alternatives.
The company has come up wht a new dye which works with its its Tanalith E wood preservative.
“Tanatone”, the new brown Tanalith variant, is aimed for use on fencing and landscaping products in particular.
Janet Brown, Arch marketing manager, said that the colourant had performance and aesthetic benefits. .
She said: “After a thorough development programme we identified a suitable product, which offers several advantages over the old system, including a cleaner shade,” she said “It ensures that Arch customers can meet the demands of the market for Tanalith E treatment plus a colour.”
