Bristol City Timber says it is saving space, time and money after installing a vertical panel saw.
The company, located near to Bristol City football ground, opted for a KoolKut KK16 space-saving vertical saw from Silchester-based Sagetech Industries.
Manager Shaun Morris said the KK16 caters for sheets of up to 1.6m by 3.1m, which with a table saw would have been a two or three man task. He said the KK16 only requires one operator and can cut several sheets at once – a real bonus on larger orders.
Mr Morris said time savings on the machine are significant and it is also providing improved accuracy.
The KK16 is available from under £4,000.
