A new Bobcat T3093S Telehandler is helping forestry company Homegrown Timber of Faygate, West Sussex, to recover wood from vegetation control and clearance projects.

Homegrown Timber, a specialist in clearance of new sites for construction including housebuilding and roads, uses the telehandler in its recycling and storage yard, feeding wood to a sawmill which then cuts the material for resale.

It will also be used on construction projects and in woodland. With a three-element boom, the vehicle can lift maximum loads of nearly half a tonne.

The Eastleigh branch of Leach Lewis Plant Ltd supplied the vehicle. The Bobcat Telehandler range retails from £29,400 upwards.
