Mike Chorlton has joined BM TRADA Certification Ltd as technical co-ordinator, reporting to senior technical consultant Andy Sumner.
Mr Chorlton, who has experience of quality management systems, was formerly design and quality supervisor with Permacell Finesse Ltd. An engineer by training, he is, in addition, a British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC)-certified simulator, which is invaluable to BM TRADA as one of the two independent agencies for the BFRC Window Energy Rating scheme.
His role will involve maintenance of the technical documentation for BM TRADA’s Q-Mark schemes for windows and doors. He will liaise with new and existing customers and will arrange and co-ordinate product testing with sister companies Chiltern International Fire and Chiltern Dynamics.
