BM TRADA Certification has restructured operations into four distinct business units – marketing & sales; UK operations; products and timber; and international & accreditation – and recruited new staff.

Karen Prendergast continues to head up marketing and sales, and Robin Askey has taken up the new role of technical marketing and sales co-ordinator.

The UK operations unit will be led by Alan Gower, who has been with the company for 11 years. Susan Morton, formerly environment manager for Severnprint, joins as certification manager.

Timber and product certification continues under Alasdair McGregor, and Tobin Gordon joins the new unit from Sydenhams, to take up the post of client manager, working alongside Cathryn Cooper, who was promoted to senior client manager earlier this year.

International and accreditation manager Robert Dye will be joined by Eda Yurdakul as certification officer.

Karen Prendergast said the new structure would allow BM TRADA to tailor services more specifically to clients’ needs and provide a stable platform for continued growth.
