Austrian machinery manufacturer Andritz is to supply the world’s largest single-stage pressurised refining system for a new MDF plant in Brazil.
The refining system will feature a 26in plug screw finder and a 70in refiner, with chippers, screens and chip handling and chip washing equipment also being supplied by Andritz to Duratex, the firm establishing the MDF plant.
