Woodworking machinery to meet the needs of large and smaller volume processors alike will be presented by Biesse UK at its first Tech Week of the year, to be held at the company’s Daventry showroom from March 20-23.

Opening hours are 10am to 6pm from Wednesday to Friday and 10am to 2pm on Saturday.

‘Biesse’s Tech Weeks have proved highly popular since they were introduced two years ago,’ said sales and marketing manager Kevin Lovell. ‘In addition to machinery demonstrations, they provide visitors with the opportunity to discuss their specific needs with our experienced sales representatives, product managers and service engineers.’

Equipment on show will include the UK premier of the Rover 35 CNC router/machining centre – which was launched at Ligna last year and is aimed at companies producing window, door and stair components, large worktops and office desktops. Also from the PC-controlled Rover series will be a Rover 24FT with flat table configuration for nesting operations; and the Rover 22 with Biesse’s patented advanced table-setting system.

For panel sizing the Tech Week will feature two Selco beam saws and visitors will also be able to see the Ergho 9 single-sided edgebander, and the advanced Millennium CNC edgebander for automatic edging and trimming of shaped panels.
