BeA’s Fastening Systems Ltd has revised three of its existing strip nailers to help reduce risk to operators.
The R90 946, R160 962 and R130 957 models have been made smaller, lighter and quieter to comply to European standards. They can also accept a wider range of nails for use in additional applications.
The R90 946 now weighs 4kg (without nails) and features a responsive top loader, noise output of 96db and will accept nails between 50-90mm. The R160 962, suitable for construction of pallets, packing cases and timber frame assembly, weighs 7.2kg, is equipped to take nails ranging from 100-160mm and is 17db quieter than its predecessor at 91db.
The R130 957, ideal for garden furniture, decking and agricultural buildings weighs 6.4kg, generates 106db and takes nails ranging from 80-130mm.
