An Austrian team using Stihl 044 chainsaws won the overall team event at the 25th World Logging Championships in Lockerbie.
The triumphant trio were Hermann Stocker, former world champion Herwig Erhard and Josef Bitschnau.
German Gottfried Schadlich, armed with a Husqvarna 371, took the individual championship honours while the junior winner was Benjamin Greber from Austria.
Britain’s team came 14th.
