Simon Ashton is to take over as chief executive of Forest Garden plc at the end of this month.
Mr Ashton was previously chief executive of food service manufacutrer LE Pritchitt and Co Ltd, has also spent nine years with Courtaulds plc and chief executive of fabric manufacturer Weavestyle.
He takes over from former chief executive Michael Timmis, who remains with Forest Garden as deputy chairman.
