Arch Timber Protection promised to answer all visitors’ key questions on preservative and fire retardant treatments at its “Tree of knowledge” stand.

“It’s a dynamic industry with a fast-moving agenda, particularly for fire,” said Jacquie Hughes, fire retardants sales manager. She added that Arch was positioning itself as a one-stop shop and a centre of excellence within the treatments sector and reported good levels of interest from visiting architects and specifiers, as well as existing customers.

Arch also highlighted its two most recent innovations: Keywood, its modified timber; and Tanalised Clear, a clear treatment designed to emphasise the natural colouration and appearance of timber.
