Third-time exhibitor Arch Timber Protection welcomed its local MP and chief secretary to the Treasury to its stand on day one.
Yvette Cooper, the former housing and planning minister, made the official opening speech at the exhibition, and also showed more than a passing interest in Castleford-based Arch’s Dricon and Non-Com Exterior fire retardant treatments, the eco-friendly features of which were explained by product manager Richard Adams.
“This is the best show yet, with some top draw speakers,” said Janet Brown, marketing manager.
