RW Machines has supplied Decorative Panel Components Ltd (DPC) with a second Anderson router as it looks to expand into the commercial furniture market.
Huddersfield-based DPC, part of the Decorative Panels Group, has installed an Anderson Exxact Duo router, with two operating heads and a smaller table offering comparable performance to its existing larger 2821PT model. The 2821PT router carries a twin table, four-heads and an eight-position tool changer.
The machines are being used to manufacture a range of panels, including for office, kitchen and bathroom applications, with DPC saying that the fast and versatile nature of the routers had helped it develop in the commercial sector.
“We are continuing to grow in this market and particularly in the commercial office environment where there seems to be a shortfall of high-quality machining capability,” said DPC managing director Malcolm Forward.
