Kent kitchen maker Stoneham plc has installed an Altendorf F45 sliding table panel saw to supplement its production of low volume intricate specials.
The company, based in Foot’s Cray, already has a Holzma beam saw to cut the bulk of its panels but needed a versatile machine to handle smaller size and batch components.
The F45, supplied by Essex-based A12 Machinery Ltd, was designed for Stoneham with a 3400mm sliding table length and main table extension of 840mm.
Other features include a digital readout to the rip fence and cross-cut mitre fence, a scoring unit with powered height plus lateral setting and auto return to pre-set height, plus a 7.5hp main saw motor with automatic brake.
