Alphacam orders rise by 20%

Coventry-based woodworking software developer Licom Systems Ltd has recorded its best Feburary sales for the Alphacam brand, with a 20% growth in orders.

Managing director Ian Scott said Alphacam’s impressive performance was across all business sectors and territories.

He said: “Software and service revenues have been strong across all our metal, stone and woodworking product ranges.”

Mr Scott predicted further sales records in the months to come, especially with new products being previewed at the MACH 2006 International Machine Tool show at Birmingham NEC during May.

Licom is part of Planit Holdings plc, one of the world’s largest providers of CAM Software technology.
