A £2.5m development comprising 17 three-storey terraced at Spinnaker Quay in Plymouth has been clad in Sikkens-treated Western Red Cedar.
Because of its proximity to the sea, it was important that the cedar received effective protection .
Sikkens recommended its Cetol Novatech woodstain which uses high solids, low solvent technology and has a slower drying time and better flow characteristics, enabling a more even finish to be achieved.
