A special Hoffman MS35SF unit is helping joinery firm JELD-WEN accurately join the architraves of doorsets.

The machine is saving 70% in production time and 50% labour costs at the works which incorporates the former John Carr and Boulton & Paul joineries.

Designed and made by the Hoffman Machine Company, the MS35SF is a combination unit incorporating a cross-cut saw, a double mitre saw and a routing head to cut slots for the special dovetail key joining profiles at right angles.
