Accent Signs has bought a second CNC router to enable it to cut larger panels.

The Cradley Heath company installed the AXYZ 6000 series machine alongside a smaller AXYZ Millennium router which it has already been operating successfully for some years.

The new addition can cut panels measuring 3x2m, without pre-cutting .

Accent Signs will use the 6000 to cut wood, acrylics and aluminium into lettering and moulds.

AXYZ Automation (UK) Ltd said its routers are popular in the sign making trade because of the high levels of precision and intricate designs required.
