Philip Holliday has been appointed marine manager for Associated British Ports’ (ABP) South Wales Ports.
Captain Holliday has responsibility for all marine-related activities across the ports of Newport, Cardiff, Barry, Swansea and Port Talbot with a remit to determine and optimise synergies. He is also helping to develop a vessel traffic management system for the ports.
He joined ABP in 1998 as marine assistant at the Port of Southampton, where he was subsequently promoted to the position of assistant marine advisor.
