Chairman of Associated British Ports Bo Lerenius has been presented with an honorary CBE for his services to the ports industry.
Swedish national Mr Lerenius was awarded the CBE by Alistair Darling, secretary of state for transport.
Mr Darling said Mr Lerenius had successfully led ABP through a period of change and progress, changed the company’s culture from top to bottom and introduced new management practices, including an innovative mentoring programme.
