Thanks to the support of Oregon Timber Frame Ltd the Princess Royal Trust for Carers will be at the Kelso Races on Monday for its annual fundraising lunch. The event raises money for The Princess Royal Trust Borders Carers’ Centre.
The Princess Royal Trust for Carers Oregon Handicap Hurdle will be run at 5.20pm with a total prize of £6,000. The race will be run over two miles, six-and-a-half furlongs and should prove a grand finale to an exciting day’s racing.
After a champagne reception and lunch in the Tweedie Stand, guests will witness the legendary auctioneering skills of Jeremy Mactaggart of Doncaster Bloodstock. Mr Mactaggart will auction the horses in The Princess Royal Trust for Carers Oregon Handicap Hurdle, giving an added opportunity for a substantial win to those whose horses are placed first or second in the race.
