Mr Simpson was keen to understand the causes and needs associated with mental health in order to help one of his sons. With care and support, his son has recovered, but at any one time one in 10 adults will be experiencing a mental health problem.

Following the funeral service, there will be a private cremation ceremony for family and invited guests. The wake, to which all are welcome, will be held at Woodlands Manor Hotel, from around 1.30pm.
