The Swedish sawmiller posted operating losses of SKr23m during the quarter (2011: SKr24m), with the figure slumping to -SKr80m for the nine months ended September 30.
Sawn timber deliveries grew by 162,000m3 to 505,000m3, due mainly to increased output from Braviken sawmill. Group-wide, Holmen recorded third quarter operating profits of SKr394m from sales of SKr4.2bn.
