The National Anti-environmental Task Force, together with the army and air force, siezed more than 3,000m3 of Iauan hardwood logs from a river in Lingig.
The department of environment and natural resources is also investigating local mayor Roberto Luna as an estimated 10,000 mixed species logs were reportedly found in his fishpond.
Logs were allegedly ready to be loaded onto a cargo ship.
