The factory is to be operated by Kohila Vineer, Latvijas’s Estonian subsidiary, and will have an annual capacity of 70,000m3.
Finnish machinery producer Raute was involved in implementing technology improvements at the factory. which will employ 70 people.
The factory opening will be attended by Latvian president Andris Berzins and Juhan Parts, Estonia’s minister of economic affairs and communications.
