The event, which was organised by the North West TTBS (NWTTBS) regional committee, included a masked drinks reception held in the Lady Chapel of the Cathedral, a three-course dinner and entertainment from the Royal Northern College of Music, magician Paul Dabek and finally music and dancing from Mission Blue.
Ivan Savage,general manager of the TTBS, praised the NWTTBS for "a memorable event".
National president Dilwyn Howell added his congratulations. "I would like to pass on my warmest congratulations to the North West Committee for organising such a successful event. As well as raising a significant amount of money for the charity it was also a thoroughly entertaining evening. I applaud the ambition of your committee and hope it inspires other regions to occasionally step outside their comfort zone and organise events that can be remembered for a long time."
