The Stratford-upon-Avon-based business was awarded the accolade for its innovative RoofSpace I-Roof system, which allows it to install up to six 2.5-storey roofs in a day – a feat that is generating high levels of interest within the housebuilding industry.

RoofSpace Solutions is part of Avonside Group Services, the parent company of Britain’s largest roofing contractor, Avonside Roofing, and counts both large volume housebuilders and smaller, independent operators among its customer base.
The RoofSpace I-Roof is designed and engineered to conform to Eurocode 5. Bespoke roof cassettes span from ridge to eaves, supported by timber glulam beams that sit in pockets formed in the insulated timber frame spandrel panels to create a complete, habitable room-in- roof solution.
The system provides a substrate ready for standard drylining to complete to Approved Document B standards and is also fully insulated, with CE-marked products. No ozone depleting chemicals are used in the panels and, similarly, no chemical blowing elements are used to create the insulation.
RoofSpace Solutions’ roof cassettes can achieve U-values as low as 0.11W/m2K within the panel with no undercloaking or additional insulating works required on site, while the wall panels achieve U-values as low as 0.22W/m2K.
