The Benenden manufacturer focused on the SCM brand after being impressed with an SCM four-sided moulder it had purchased in 2010.
Creative Joinery’s managing director, Patrick Wigram, opted for the SCM TI120E, supplied by Scott+Sargeant, partly because the machine’s 45° forward and backwards tilting capability offered flexibility when producing a wide range of custom joinery.
Creative’s purchase was upgraded from the standard machine to include mechanical adjustment to the fence, reverse spindle rotation, extra long tables and a powerful 10hp motor. An iTECH 8 power feed unit was also fitted.
