The MDF brand, the only panel manufacturer to attend the exhibition, chose to display some of its customers’ products made from Medite on its show stand, including panels made by Neat Concepts and skirting boards produced by Watford Timber.

“I’ve always been to Woodmex but never found it was the right sort of show for us,” said Medite’s UK sales manager Malcolm Cowley. “But following the success of The Timber Show, we thought we would give it a go.”

He thought the new branding of the show created an “aura of a strong supply base”.

Mr Cowley reported a strong interest from universities, who had asked for literature about the Medite range of products.
