SDRB owner Simon Boardman placed the order for his PAR and moulding work after seeing a machinery demonstration at SCM UK’s showroom near Nottingham.
The machine purchased had an increased infeed table length of 2500mm.
SCM has reported a growing number of orders for the Profiset 60 from the joinery, moulding and woodworking sectors.
The machine features a new feed system using Cardan joints and gearboxes, as well as pneumatic pressure on the 120mm diameter feed rollers. A T-Set rapid tool locking/unlocking device uses a compressed air gun.
