Director David Craddock told TTJ that the combined benefits of build speed, high energy efficiency, quicker return on investment, better build performance and less risk were promoted to contractors and specifiers.

Mr Craddock said contractors were active in looking at alternative solutions (from traditional masonry construction) for meeting Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 performance.

He said the lack of a gap between designed performance and actual building performance was a key attribute to the EBS Elk system, as well as builders being able to extend their sales time on sites.

EBS Elk flagged up its CE marking conformity and its system being successfully fire tested in the UK Timber Frame Association’s SiteSafe fire-testing programme.
