"Our products sell stand-alone, but increasingly specifiers and construction generally, including self-builders, are looking for packages and complete solutions," said operations director Ross Baxter.
The latest contribution to the package, forming the ‘roof’ of one corner of the stand was the pre-insulated solid timber joist, panellised PasRoof system, which officially launches in April.
"This is targeted at the narrow-fronted 2.5 storey town-houses favoured by major housebuilders," said Mr Baxter. "It achieves a U-value of 0.16W/m2K and that can be upgraded to 0.12 with the addition of British Gypsum thermal laminate."
Other key stand highlights included Pasquill’s engineered glulam beams in the "St Gobain school", a slice of classroom on the stand.
Metal-web and timber Posi-joists featured in an office construction, underlining their capacity to accommodate services, and the I-loft ‘room in the roof’ solution, which enables steel-plate end-reinforced I-beams to simply be slotted in through the side of the roof to open up a trussed rafter attic space, were used in a section targeting renovation and self-build.
Pasquill was also promoting its new market segmented trussed rafter design service structure, with national house builders and merchants and smaller builders now served by separate teams to improve service and efficiency.
