The business was sold to Omnis with several other parts of Eleco’s ElecoBuild division, including SpeedDeck Building Systems, Prompt Profiles and Downer Cladding Systems in a £200,000 deal.
The sale sees the transfer of all 44 staff working for the four building products manufacturing businesses. Eleco is retaining the 116,000ft2 freehold property at Yaxley, where the companies are based, and has agreed a one-year lease with Omnis.
New start-up Omnis was incorporated on May 7.
