Turnover at the company, which has factories in Lavia, Lithuania and Estonia, reached €126m, while production grew to 220,000m3. Ninety-three jobs were also created.
Other highlights from the year include the establishment of a product development and trading company in Turkey – its 11th venture outside Latvia.
The company also invested heavily in its Kohila Veneer birch plywood factory, which can now produce 70,000m3 of birch plywood annually.
This year Latvijas Finieris plans to invest €15m in product development, energy-efficient projects and other new technologies.
