Weyerhaeuser is impressed at the safety record of its McComb sawmill, Mississippi, which has not had a recordable work injury for more than three years.
The mill, which employs 200 people in the production of southern yellow pine timber, has the best safety record among Weyerhaeuser’s lumber operations.
The company’s top safety award has already been awarded to the mill this year, while it also frequently wins Weyerhaeuser’s wood products safety award for outstanding team performance.
