Darren McCarthy, the former general manager of the company’s Skelmersdale branch, has been promoted to the position of group hardwood purchasing manager, taking over the purchasing reins from purchasing director Geoff Stentiford who will be heading up a new project for the group.
David Johnson moves up from assistant to general manager of Skelmersdale. Nick Hughes has been appointed as his assistant.
The sales team at Brooks Skelmersdale has been further strengthened with the appointment of Mike Hicklin as senior internal sales executive, returning to Brooks after being employed as a sales representative in the north-west.
"Darren McCarthy leaves Skelmersdale branch on a high as they record their highest ever monthly sales total," said sales and marketing director Mark Fleming.
