Timber sector supporters of the event, which is designed to celebrate responsible forestry and raise awareness of the FSC logo, include AVS Fencing Supplies, Border Oak Ltd, Dumfries Timber, SCA Timber Supply, AJ Laminated Beams and Ahmarra Door Solutions.
Planned events include factory tours, FSC product promotions, a film screening, tree plantings and several school initiatives.
FSC said it was able to provide event organisers with resources such as posters, flyers and factsheets and could help with promotion via its website and on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
