The new unit at Bradnam’s Haverhill factory will be used in the manufacture of solid and veneered coffins.
Bradnam managing director Bob Spittle said the Powermat 600 gave the factory the ability to change profiles quickly.
"With the Memo Plus System of the Powermat, we have reduced set-up times – on average, from around 40 minutes to 10 minutes – perfectly finished to exact size, first time," he said.
Bradnam offers more than 20 different moulder profiles, plus the capability of bespoke designs.
