Metsä said the GMB strike ballot at its plants in Boston, Widnes and Grangemouth had taken place, with members voting against a strike.
“Pay negotiations for 2014 have now concluded,” Metsä said. “The supply of timber products to customers will continue without interruption.”
GMB made a statement in March saying about 350 of its members employed by Metsä had rejected the current wage position.
