Blackheath Products in Halesowen supplies laminate, solid wood and solid surface worktops for kitchens, bathrooms and commercial applications, plus sheet material and flooring.
Akril is a coloured acrylic panel, which has the look and feel of glass but is half the weight with 25 times the impact strength and heat resistance to 100 degrees centigrade.
The company, which operates from a 100,000ft2 factory and employs 105 people, said Akril will appeal to the architectural and interior design market and is projected to boost turnover by £1.5m to £25m.
Funding assistance was arranged through the HSBC SME Fund for West Midlands to help the company stock a full range.
Managing director Ian Foster said: "The company that supplies Akril originally focused on the automative sector, but it is now targeting other sectors. One of the big advantages over other materials is that it can be cut with woodworking tools by the installer onsite, rather than having to make a template and sending it away."
