The £4m development is on the site of a former council-owned maisonette block that had to be demolished, and will be part rent-part buy. The homes have a whole house ventilation system with heat recovery.
The Accord Group is developing the site with Sandwell council and the Homes and Communities Agency. It manufactures timber frame panels at its own factory in Walsall and said individual homes were being completed on site in a day.
