Howarth is one of the largest manufacturers of timber windows and doors in the UK and was temporarily put out of action when the River Humber burst its banks leaving the machinery under 1m of water.
The Matrix 3 has a 6m infeed capacity and is capable of full optimising and defecting capabilities plus the option of downloading cutting lists. It is powered by a 10hp motor and has a 500mm blade.
It was supplied through dealers JJ Smith, which also supplied a Centauro ALFA CNC machining centre, a Saomad ST programmable single-end tenoner and a selection of other machines as part of the re-equipment programme.
